Moreover, you can secure the availability of your desire vehicle by booking in advance, because otherwise all vehicles may already be booked when you come to the office on arrival.
All you need to reserve a scooter, motorcycle or bicycle on TravelFlight is a credit or debit card. When you collect your vehicle from the rental company and sign the rental agreement you may need to provide a valid driver’s licence, ID and some form of deposit. Please check the provider’s conditions on the booking page before making a reservation.
Companies’ conditions vary. In your search results you will be able to see what kind of licence each company requires. Usually you can rent a scooter with a B (car) or AM/A1 driver's licence.
For motorcycle you will need an A (moto) driver's licence.
To rent a quad bike (ATV) you will need just a car driver's licence.
No licence is required for bicycles. Some rental companies ask for an international drivers permit (IDP), so always check each provider’s conditions.
All vehicles listed on our website have third party insurance. Some of our providers can offer you comprehensive insurance or insurance with CDW. A CDW (collision damage waiver) sets the maximum amount you will pay if there is serious damage to the vehicle.
We advise you to purchase comprehensive insurance so that you can relax and enjoy your ride. If you have any problems we are always here to help.
When you make a reservation through TravelFlight you enter into a direct, legally binding contract with the vehicle provider (rental company).
The rental company knows about your booking and will provide you with exactly the model of vehicle you have reserved. If they don’t have the right bike you will be offered a better bike at no extra charge.
You don’t pay any commission for our services: our services are free for customers, and there are no credit card fees.
We have special agreements with all of the rental companies listed, and they pay us. As the customer, the price for you is always the same as if you were renting on arrival. Also our website is more user-friendly and we sometimes offer special deals.
You don’t need to pay the full price at the moment of booking. We charge only a small part of the total price on behalf of the rental company just to secure your booking. This means that you pay part of the total price now and the rest when you pick up your vehicle.
Of course! Plans change sometimes, and you can always cancel or modify your reservation. Cancellation at no extra cost is possible at any time more than 48 hours before the start of the rental period.
After 48 hours full rental price will be charged. Please note that the part which you paid online to secure your booking is not refundable.
Most hire (rental) companies require a security deposit for the vehicle (your driving license, cash, passport, etc.) at the start of the rental to cover the liability excess, any charges incurred during the rental and, in some cases, fuel. If the provided vehicle and extras are returned in accordance with the rules of rental and the fuel policy, this deposit will be refunded at the end of your rental.
We recommend you contact your provider as soon as possible. If you didn't purchase full insurance, you may be charged by the rental company for any damages caused by the renter to the rented vehicle corresponding to repair costs.
Many companies offer additional or even full insurance as an extra service: TravelFlight always recommends purchasing full insurance. If the rented vehicle is stolen, the Client must present keys, documents and the police theft complaint in order to avoid being charged. Always check your agreement with the rental company for additional terms.
